Overview Join to apply for the Test Environment Support Engineer role at EPAM Systems Are you a forward-thinking professional with a strong background in Test Environment and an interest in financial services? Join EPAM in Madrid as a Test Environment Support Engineer in the private banking sector and accelerate your career in financial services technology. We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills, engineering mastery, and a B2+/C1 English level for effective stakeholder interactions. In this role you will manage two test instances of the Integration Layer (one with anonymized data for testing and one for E2E UAT). In case of a failure, you will define measures and implement mitigation actions to avoid future failures, ensuring proper E2E testing activities for various consuming applications. You will work in an agile team with colleagues from Switzerland and Spain. This is a hybrid role based in Madrid city centre. Responsibilities Manage and maintain two test instances of the Integration Layer, ensuring seamless operations for end-to-end testing activities Investigate failures in test instances, define measures, and implement mitigation actions to prevent recurrence Support anonymized data workflows and end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments Provide troubleshooting assistance for integration layer environments and resolve complex issues independently Monitor system functionality and ensure alignment with banking regulations and operational standards Coordinate with consuming applications to maintain efficiency during testing phases Improve processes and automation tools to streamline test environment performance Work closely with stakeholders to communicate updates, risks, and solutions effectively Participate in regular knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team expertise and innovation strategies Requirements 5+ years of relevant experience Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL Basic understanding of UNIX and experience with Datawarehouse systems Knowledge of job scheduling tools such as Automic Workload Automation (AWA) Background in banking systems is an advantage, with competency in agile methodologies and financial services systems Analytical skills to independently solve complex technical problems Flexibility to learn on the job and adapt to dynamic challenges in IT environments Capability to work within a collaborative team of specialists and contribute innovative solutions Showcase of commitment and passion for delivering high-quality solutions with optimal effort Fluency in English, with a minimum B2+/C1 level for effective communication Nice to have Knowledge of IDMC Basic familiarity with banking principles and sector-specific workflows We offer Private health insurance EPAM Employees Stock Purchase Plan 100% paid sick leave Referral Program Professional certification Language courses EPAM is a leading digital transformation services and product engineering company with 61,700+ employees in 55+ countries.
