The team is responsible for the origination, structuring, underwriting and execution of corporate debt transactions for across all corporate clients in Spain and Portugal where BBVA has a leading market position. The team works with all sectors and company sizes in these geographies.**About the job:** As a **Vice President**, your main roles and responsibilities are, among others, the following ones:* Develop in-depth relationships with the clients when providing the best solutions to structure corporate debt, always with the objective of leading transactions.* Maintain and enhance market intelligence working with other teams such as Syndicate & Sales.* Work on underwriting and distribution strategies including management of different stakeholders in coverage, syndicate, sales and risk to obtain the relevant approvals.* Lead origination efforts for both syndicated and bilateral facilities (among others, term loans, RCFs, bridge loans, back-stops, guarantee lines...)* This includes elaboration of marketing materials for pitching, running financial models, completing financial and credit proposals for internal approval committees also for syndication purposes.* Manage the day-to-day execution of several deals in parallel, providing support to more senior team members but also guidance and learning opportunities to more junior team colleagues.These responsibilities require strong determination and the ability to manage a high workload. **Requirements*** Bachelor's degree, MBA, or an equivalent graduate qualification in a financial discipline with more than 7-8 years of working experience in the lending field.* Proven experience in analyzing and structuring syndicated debt for corporates with proven experience performing financial and credit analysis.* Independent decision making and the experience to run an origination and execution process with autonomy.* Familiar with origination and syndication policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal documentation standards to effectively conduct the role.* Strong stakeholder management skills as well as proven ability to manage more junior team members.* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written* Knowledge and understanding of an M&A process and other financial markets and areas such as corporate bonds, ratings, private placements, project finance, LBOs derivatives.* Language proficiency: fluent in English and Spanish.* IT skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, AI applications and Google Chrome.**Skills:**Business StrategiesDon't miss any opportunity and... upload your CV!
