About the Role
We seek a talented and committed PE Teacher to join our thriving international community at ELIS Villamartín. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop PE across the whole school, inspiring students to explore their creativity and sporting acumen, build confidence, and achieve academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, high-quality PE lessons to students aged 5 to 18, including GCSE.
Assessment and Feedback: Use assessment data effectively to monitor student progress, provide detailed feedback, and set targets for improvement.
Embed the ELIS Values — Respect, Care, Perseverance, Honesty, and Kindness — into all aspects of teaching, learning, and wider school life.
Use assessment data effectively to monitor student progress, providing timely support and challenge to maximise individual potential.
Promote student wellbeing and resilience, contributing to the delivery of the Cognita Be Well Charter.
Play an active role in the wider life of the school through co‑curricular activities, events, and enrichment opportunities.

Ideal Qualifications

A degree and a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent).
Proven experience of teaching PE successfully at secondary school level, with experience preparing students for external examinations.
A commitment to holistic education, nurturing both the academic progress and personal development of each student.
Passion, creativity, and a growth mindset, with the ability to inspire students and colleagues alike.
A collaborative and flexible approach, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
