We work with large enterprises and public institutions to deploy secure, scalable, and cost-efficient AI systems in production .Our objective in the public sector is to enable sovereign, enterprise-grade AI, supporting public administrations in deploying AI solutions with full control, security, and long-term sustainability.Role OverviewWe are looking for a senior Strategic Account Executive for the Public Sector in Spain, responsible for developing and closing large-scale commercial AI contracts across national, regional, and institutional public administrations.This role is purely business-driven and focused on commercial execution. The successful candidate will act as a trusted strategic partner to public institutions, capable of engaging at executive and political levels and closing high-value, multi-year AI contracts (7–8 figures) .Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business DevelopmentDefine and execute the commercial growth strategy for the public sector in Spain.Identify, develop, and close large AI contracts with public administrations and public institutions.Build and manage a robust pipeline of strategic accounts and long-term opportunities.Institutional & Executive EngagementEstablish and maintain senior-level relationships with:Ministries and Secretariats of StateRegional governments and public agenciesCIOs, CTOs, Chief Data / AI Officers, and executive leadershipPosition Multiverse Computing as a long-term AI partner for public institutions.Represent the company in high-level institutional and executive forums when required.Public Procurement & ContractingLead complex public procurement processes, including:Public tendersFramework agreementsDirect negotiations where applicableCoordinate internally to ensure proposals are competitive, compliant, and commercially sound.Drive contracts from opportunity identification through signature and handover.Solution & Value PositioningCommercially position Multiverse's AI offerings, including:Enterprise AI platforms (hybrid & on-prem)Proprietary and corporate LLM solutionsAI performance and cost optimization solutions~ Translate institutional needs into concrete AI solutions with clear operational and economic value. Internal CoordinationWork closely with product, technical, legal, and delivery teams to ensure successful contract execution.Provide market and customer feedback to support product and go-to-market evolution.Profile & ExperienceRequired Experience~10–15+ years of experience in strategic sales, business development, or account management within the public sector.~ Proven track record of closing large, complex commercial contracts with public administrations.~ Strong understanding of public procurement and contracting processes in Spain.~ Experience selling complex technology or infrastructure-backed solutions.
