We are currently looking for an Accountant for one of our campuses in Barcelona. Reporting to the AP Manager, his/her responsibilities will be to participate and assist in the accounting workflow. About the Job Responsibilities include assisting in these processes: Bank reconciliation Manage all issued payments through our ERP’s following our policies Travel expenses managing Manage the payment collection with the students and the reduction of debt in our accounting Assist throughout the entire financial communication process with the student or supplier Make sure that our accounting information is accurate and reliable Assist in creating & preparing the student invoices /credit notes Assist with any work carried out in the finance department Propose improvements in accounting processes About You You’ll need to show numerical skills, be a team worker, good communicator, organized, analytical and methodical person. It’s positive to show interest in learning new technologies and face with positive attitude new challenges. Previous 2+ years of experience working in a similar role. Organized, motivated, friendly, trustworthy, not shy. Adaptability to diverse cultures – students and staff come from all over the world. Fluent in English (interview in English) Highly competent in using Outlook, Excel and Word. What we offer A 10-month contract with the possibility of staying on after the probation period. 1 day per week home office. Training in Sage X3 and Yooz. Short days on Fridays and during Summer.
