AI Engineer Barcelona Hybrid - 2 days a week We’re looking for an AI Engineer to help design, build, and scale next-generation AI products and platforms. You’ll work across LLM applications, RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems, and cloud infrastructure, helping turn cutting-edge AI capability into real commercial impact.This role sits within a fast-moving engineering environment where experimentation, ownership, and delivery all matter.What You’ll Be DoingBuilding production-grade LLM applications and agentic AI systems. Designing and optimising RAG pipelines, embeddings, and semantic search capabilities. Developing scalable Python APIs and backend AI services. Deploying AI solutions across AWS and Kubernetes environments. Building robust ETL/data pipelines for AI-ready architectures. Evaluating and improving LLM performance through testing and observability frameworks. Working closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions at scale. Staying ahead of emerging trends across GenAI, LLMs, and AI engineering. What We’re Looking ForStrong Python engineering background. Commercial experience building AI/ML solutions. Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Hugging Face, or similar. Experience building RAG pipelines and working with vector databases. Strong understanding of prompt engineering and LLM evaluation techniques. Experience with AWS cloud services and containerised environments (Docker/Kubernetes). Familiarity with modern software engineering practices, CI/CD, and Agile delivery. Strong communication skills and the ability to operate in fast-paced environments.
