Revlon, a leading multinational cosmetics company, is seeking an Analytical Chemist to join the R&D team in Barcelona , reporting to the Global Manager of Analytical Services. This is a temporary position lasting 9 months and requiring full on-site presence. The role focuses on executing analytical testing for raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with established specifications and methods, while supporting multiple R&D projects in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities: Perform routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials and finished products following established methods and specifications Execute analytical techniques, including chromatography and wet chemistry, ensuring accurate data generation and interpretation Support investigations related to non-conformities, product issues, or alternative raw materials Develop, validate, and improve analytical methods in line with regulatory and GMP standards Prepare and review technical documentation, including reports, protocols, and validation documents Provide analytical support to cross-functional teams across multiple projects Supervise, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation Ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of laboratory equipment and workspace Train and support junior team members when required Present results and findings in a clear and structured manner Requirements: Technical skills Degree in Chemistry or related scientific field (Higher Vocational Training also considered with strong experience) Around 3 years of experience as an analytical chemist in an industrial environment, such as cosmetics, chemicals, food, or pharmaceuticals Hands-on experience with chromatographic techniques (LC/GC), ideally with OpenLab software Experience in potentiometric titrations and general wet chemistry techniques Advanced level of English and Spanish Strong Excel and general Office skills Core competencies Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment Team-oriented profile with strong communication skills
