About the Role
Our Android applications are a critical part of Fever’s operational ecosystem, powering cashless payments, access control, ticketing, recharges and other on‑site workflows. These applications run on smartphones, kiosks/totems and custom hardware devices designed in‑house, and are used in large‑scale, high‑demand environments across multiple countries.
We are looking for an Android Developer to join our team and help us evolve our Android platform. You will work mainly with Kotlin, contribute to the progressive migration from Java, and help build scalable and reliable solutions used by millions of users in real time.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain native Android applications, primarily using Kotlin, following Android best practices and Google design guidelines.
Maintain and evolve existing Android applications built in Java, contributing to their progressive migration to Kotlin.
Manage asynchronous workflows using Kotlin Coroutines and Flow, while maintaining existing implementations based on RxJava.
Apply SOLID principles to ensure clean, maintainable and scalable code.
Collaborate with the team to implement improvements using Jetpack libraries (Compose is a plus).
Use tools such as Gradle and Fastlane to automate build, testing and deployment processes.
Build software used at large‑scale live events across 10+ countries, running on mobile devices, kiosks/totems and custom hardware for access control and cashless operations.
Work closely with product, hardware and operations teams to deliver robust solutions in high‑throughput, real‑time environments.
