Area Sales Manager
Missions
Reporting to the Regional Management, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across Northern Spain and Portugal through the development and management of a distributor network.
The role combines business development, key account management, and technical sales in a highly competitive industrial environment.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing a network of distributors and channel partners
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing and new accounts
- Promoting and selling technical solutions in compressed air systems
- Delivering technical presentations and conducting air audits for customers
- Supporting partners to ensure effective solution delivery and customer satisfaction
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Achieving sales targets while ensuring profitability
Profile
Education & Experience
- Engineering degree or technical background (sales/business education is a plus)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B industrial sales
- Proven experience in developing and managing distributor networks (indirect sales)
- Experience in compressors or similar industrial equipment is highly desirable
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong technical understanding of compressed air systems and industrial applications
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Autonomous, results-driven, and comfortable working in a field-based role
- Ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders
Languages
- Spanish: Native level
- English: Good level required
- Portuguese: A plus
Additional Information
- Location: Northern Spain (with coverage of Portugal)
- Travel: Frequent travel within the assigned territory
