This role goes far beyond technical excellence: we're looking for someone who can act as a trusted advisor, challenge decisions when needed, and bring structure, ownership, and leadership to both the customer and the development team. This is a fully remote position where you'll work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders while helping shape the evolution of a large-scale cloud-native platform. What You'll Dobr/br/As a Backend Tech Lead, you will be responsible for both technical leadership and delivery excellence. You\'ll play a key role in ensuring that the team is building the right solutions, in the right way, for the right business outcomes. Your responsibilities will include: Acting as the technical leader for a complex cloud-native platform built onbr/br/.NETbr/br/andbr/br/Azure . Proactively driving initiatives, following up on open topics, and ensuring progress even when dependencies move slowly. Challenging technical and business decisions when necessary, including product owners, developers, customer stakeholders, and internal teams. Identifying risks early and raising concerns before they become delivery or quality issues. Building a deep understanding of the customer\'s business, processes, and challenges. Leading architectural discussions and supporting technical decision-making across multiple teams. Ensuring high-quality engineering practices and maintainable, scalable solutions. Preparing technical documentation, workshops, reviews, and stakeholder meetings in a structured and organized manner. Mentoring developers and helping the team grow technically and professionally. What You'll Needbr/br/We\'re looking for a hands-on leader who combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Required Experiencebr/br/Extensive experience as a Senior Backend Engineer, Lead Developer, or Technical Lead. Strong expertise inbr/br/C#br/br/andbr/br/.NETbr/br/(preferably .NET 8). Proven experience working withbr/br/Azure Cloudbr/br/services in production environments. Experience designing and operatingbr/br/microservice architectures . Strong understanding of event-driven and distributed systems. Ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluent English (written and spoken). Nice to Havebr/br/Angular and TypeScript knowledge to understand the broader platform architecture. Experience with IoT platforms and connected devices. Knowledge of IoT security concepts, certificate management, Secure Boot, or encryption mechanisms. Experience working in multilingual, international environments.
