Descubra si es el candidato adecuado leyendo la descripción completa a continuación.Data Cabling EngineerLocation: Zaragosa, SpainContract Type:Freelance / PermanentRole OverviewWe are seeking experienced Data Cabling Engineers to support data centre installation and upgrade projects. The role involves structured cabling works within live and new-build data centre environments, supporting critical infrastructure deployments. Engineers may work individually or as part of pre-formed teams, depending on project requirements.Key Responsibilities- Installation, termination, and testing of structured cabling systems (fibre and copper) within data centres- Fibre cabling: single-mode and multi-mode installation, dressing, and labelling- Copper cabling: Cat5e / Cat6 / Cat6A installation and termination- Rack & stack support, including patching within cabinets and frames- Testing and certification using power meter and OTDR (where applicable)- Accurate labelling and documentation in line with data centre standards- Working within live environments while maintaining service integrity- Compliance with site health & safety, security, and change control procedures- Coordination with site supervisors, project managers, and client representatives- Maintaining clean, organised, and compliant work areasRequired Skills & Experience- Proven experience as a Data Cabling Engineer in data centre environments- Strong knowledge of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA, ISO)- Experience with fibre (SM/MM) and copper cabling systems- Competence in testing xcskxlj and fault-finding of fibre and copper links- Experience working in live operational data centres- Ability to follow drawings, method statements, and schedules- Comfortable working to programme milestones and quality standardsCompliance & Requirements- Full right to work in Spain.Team Applications- Pre-formed teams of engineers are welcome- Teams should preferably include an experienced Lead Engineer / Supervisor- Consistent skill level and availability across the team is required
