On this occasion we are looking for full‑time Category Buyer to join the Supply Chain Management department of GDELS Santa Bárbara Sistemas. What your work will consist of: Develop, implement and maintain sourcing strategies by product category. Develop category strategy, action plans by category, execute and monitor said strategy. Request bids with a focus on obtaining competitive proposals and developing long‑term strategic relationships with suppliers. Actively coordinate and monitor workload by supplier. Lead and influence the various stakeholders in the organization so that purchasing can be carried out effectively. What is the profile required? Bachelor's degree in Engineering Electrical, Mechanical, Telecon, Industrial) or in Business Administration. A Master degree on SCM/ MBA/Logistics is desirable. Experience in purchasing technical goods : minimum 3 years, desirable 5. English C1/B2 Common European Framework of Reference. A B2 on German is also desirable. Advanced user of Office; control IT tools (e.g. MS Access, Excel, Word). No restrictions to traveling. B1 driving license required. Exceptional communication skills, including issue resolution, negotiation, and conflict management. Clear and concise communication expertise both at the executive level and across the SCM team. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints from client, providers and/or partners. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, SCM team and others. Ability to draw valid conclusions from a wide range of intellectual and practical problems and make recommendations for change. Ability to work well independently or in a team environment. Must be able to adapt to organizational change. Flexibility and ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. What do we offer?
