Chief of Staff to the CEOGrupo Vaughan · Spain · Full-time · Reports directly to the CEOWhat you'll actually doOwn the strategic agenda. Prepare the board and investor materials for Tutore and Innova — not by collecting slides from others, but by building the analysis yourself and being able to defend every number in it.Run the hard analyses. Unit economics by business line. Build-vs-buy on technology. Market entry cases. You will be the person who knows where the money actually comes from and where it actually goes.Run projects. Own a portfolio of projects that Vaughan employees are working on. Make sure things keep moving, track progress, and flag any roadblocks to the CEO.What success looks like in the first 12 monthsYou can answer any question about Vaughan's P&L faster and more accurately than anyone outside Finance.Board and investor materials go out earlier, with fewer revisions, and hold up under questioning.Two or three specific decisions were materially better because of analysis you did.You have run at least one initiative end to end that had a measurable number attached to it.Who we're looking for3–5 years at a top-tier strategy consultancy (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or similar), private equity, or investment banking. Genuinely exceptional analytical horsepower. You build the model yourself; you don't brief someone else to build it. Familiarity with AI tools (including how to use them to build Excel files and PowerPoint presentations) – combined with business judgment to know when AI solutions don’t make sense and need to be challengedProfessional fluency in both Spanish and EnglishComfort with ambiguity, incomplete data, and having your work seen by a PE boardWhat we offerDirect, daily access to the CEO and a seat in the room where the decisions actually get made — including with the board and our private equity owners.A firsthand experience in operations of a PE-owned company, a stepping stone for you to own operations, and potentially P&L in your next roleCompetitive compensationHours that are better than consulting and limited travelHow to applySend a CV and a short note — in English — explaining the hardest analytical problem you've owned and what you concluded.
