Reporting to the Head of O&M, the CMMS Senior Engineer will play a key role in bridging corporate CMMS strategy with operational implementation across OW projects. This role combines system integration, continuous improvement, and user support to ensure consistent and effective use of CMMS across the fleet. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with CMMS tools, good knowledge of O&M processes, and the ability to connect technical functionalities with operational needs. A balance of analytical, technical, and communication skills will be essential to succeed. The CMMS Senior Associate will work closely with Site O&M Managers, the Corporate O&M & Asset Management team, and software developers.
Overview
Main Accountabilities
System Implementation & Integration
Support in defining and delivering CMMS implementation plans across projects.
Assist in the configuration of CMMS software to meet operational requirements.
Collaborate on integration with ERP and asset management platforms, ensuring seamless data exchange.
Provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshooting issues, and guiding users on best practices.
Ensure consistent and correct use of CMMS across the fleet, including audits and data quality monitoring.
Identify and prioritize functional enhancements in collaboration with developers and O&M Managers.
Capture user feedback and propose improvements to increase system adoption and performance.
Analyse data recorded in CMMS to extract insights, trends, and optimization opportunities for O&M activities.
Maintenance & Reporting
Oversee maintenance plans and work order execution, ensuring alignment with sitewide priorities.
Define and monitor maintenance KPIs, providing regular reporting to Corporate O&M and Asset Management.
Support workshops and training sessions to share best practices and ensure knowledge transfer across sites.
Contribute to OPEX modelling and performance analysis, leveraging CMMS data.
Academic Background
Degree in Industrial, Energy, Electrical, Mechanical, or Naval Engineering (or equivalent).
Languages
Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Other languages will be valued.
Professional Experience
5–7 years of experience in CMMS tools and processes, including software implementation in corporate or academic settings.
Experience in wind or other renewable energy sectors will be valued.
Experience in maintenance performance measurement and reporting is required.
Knowledge
Proven knowledge of CMMS software, maintenance management principles, and O&M processes.
Skills
Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to plan and deliver projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills (experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI is an asset).
Other Requirements
Willingness to travel to project and OEM sites as required.
