About The Job
Based at Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, as Cook you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes in accordance with established recipes and brand standards. The role includes ensuring the highest quality and presentation of all dishes, supporting efficient food preparation, and maintaining a clean, well‑organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Responsibilities

Support the Sous Chef in the day‑to‑day kitchen operations, including food preparation and service.
Supervise and guide kitchen colleagues within your section, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
Ensure food quality, hygiene, and safety standards are always met.
Assist with stock control, inventory management, and the proper use of kitchen equipment.
Collaborate with the Sous Chef on menu development, new dishes, and daily specials.
Train and support junior team members, fostering teamwork, efficiency, and skill development.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with health and safety guidelines.
Contribute to cost control by minimizing waste and supporting efficient food preparation during peak service times.

Qualifications
Experience and education

Culinary School, University Degree; at least 2‑3 years’ experience in Luxury Hospitality industry
