CORE DIGITAL CAMPUS – ITSM Operation and Service SpecialistLocation: Albacete, Spain | Employment Type: Permanent | Experience Level: Entry Level | Job Family: Digital | Department: Digital Campus – ITSM Operation and ServiceJob DescriptionThe IT Operation and Service Specialist for Asset & Configuration Data Management plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, health, and reliability of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This position is responsible for the day‑to‑day management of CMDB data, acting as a bridge between the data and the IT teams that rely on it. The candidate will ensure that IT Service Management (ITSM) processes are strictly followed and will empower our Product Service Lines (PSLs) to effectively manage and consume CMDB data within ServiceNow.ResponsibilitiesExecute daily operational (RUN) tasks to maintain, update, and audit CMDB data content, ensuring high accuracy and reliability of configuration items (CIs) and their relationships.Proactively collaborate with and support other IT teams (infrastructure, application, network, etc.) to identify data discrepancies, resolve CI conflicts, and continuously improve overall CMDB data quality.Act as the primary technical point of contact for Product Service Lines (PSLs), providing hands‑on support and guidance on managing and updating CMDB data within the ServiceNow platform.Assist PSLs in designing and building practical scenarios and workflows to efficiently consume CMDB content for incident, problem, change, and lifecycle management.Ensure all asset and configuration management activities align with internal governance, ITIL best practices, and organizational ITSM standards.QualificationsActive ITIL Certification (ITIL Foundation V3 or ITIL 4 Foundation minimum requirement).Comprehensive understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, IT operations, and how Configuration Management interacts with Incident, Problem, and Change Management.Solid knowledge of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM), specifically the data model for products and services objects.Hands‑on experience working with ServiceNow, navigating and managing data within its CMDB and Asset Management modules.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and troubleshoot data discrepancies.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data concepts to various IT teams and PSLs.Optional SkillsPrevious experience with ServiceNow Discovery or Service Mapping.Advanced ITIL certifications or ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA) certification.Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments alongside Product Service Lines.BenefitsVacation days plus additional days‑off (approx. 35 days per year).Attractive salary.Hybrid work model with flexible arrangements.Collective transportation service based on the working calendar/location.Life insurance, health insurance, employee stock options, retirement plan, and study grants.On‑site facilities such as free canteen, kindergarten, and medical office.Participation in social and corporate social responsibility initiatives.Upskilling opportunities and career development prospects in a multicultural environment.Special rates on products and benefits.EEO StatementAirbus is committed to achieving workforce diversity and creating an inclusive working environment.
