Customer Success Engineer, Data (end of Q3 hire)Join to apply for the Customer Success Engineer, Data role at Embeddable.Who are we?At Embeddable, we operate in a fast-paced environment with ambitious goals. We launched in December 2023 and are rapidly gaining recognition in the developer community. Our platform enables developers to embed seamless, high-performance analytics directly into their products, scaling from simple charts to complex, customer-facing analytics for tens of thousands of users.Our three core user personas are:Front-end developers (React.js) building interactive analytics experiences.Data teams creating data models for a single source of truth.End users (non-technical) interacting with analytics and creating dashboards.We are building a community of curious, innovative individuals committed to creating extraordinary products. We recently received a €6m seed funding round in December 2024, fueling our growth.Who are you?Our customers range from startups to large product teams, and we expect our support to meet high standards. We already have a Customer Success Engineer for front-end SDK support; now, we seek a data-savvy counterpart to assist with semantic layer, SQL, and modeling questions, and to develop community resources.The magic you’ll perform:Work with data teams using our semantic layer (Cube.dev) to model data and support dashboards.Support technical and non-technical users, troubleshooting SQL and schema issues via chat or community forums.Guide customers on best practices for production use of semantic layers.Contribute to documentation, guides, and examples to facilitate self-service support.Act as a bridge between customer needs and our product/engineering teams, identifying trends and insights.What you already have:Strong SQL skills, with experience writing and debugging complex queries.Understanding of modern data stacks (data modeling, warehouses, dbt, Cube.dev).Experience with version control (Git) and code-first environments.Experience supporting external users or customers in technical roles.Ability to create technical documentation or training materials.Excellent written communication skills, especially in async formats.Empathy for users at various technical levels and the ability to meet them where they are.Proactive attitude and willingness to help beyond fully scoped problems.Strong collaboration skills in a remote, cross-functional team.Bonus points if you have:Experience with semantic layers like Cube, dbt Semantic Layer, or LookML.Previous customer-facing experience (Customer Success, Support, Solutions Engineering).Contributions to open source or educational content.Interview process includes:Take-home assignmentDeep-dive interviewExecutive interview with co-founderWhat you’ll get from us:Fully remote work environmentOpportunity to join a growing international team.Generous stock optionsUp to 30 days of annual holidays plus public holidaysAnnual home office and learning budgetsQuarterly global team meet-upsIf interested, we’d love to hear from you!
