Our mission: “3 engineers within 1 hour of every data center globally.” The Role We're looking for a skilled Data Center Technician in Ciudad Real, Spain to provide on-site technical support at local data centre facilities. Key Responsibilities Remote Hands & Smart Hands support (cabling, power cycling, hardware swaps) Server rack installation and decommissioning Cross-connect and patch panel management Hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics Visual inspections and inventory audits Escort and access coordination for client visits Emergency response and on-call availability Requirements Hands‑on experience with data centre infrastructure Knowledge of server hardware, networking, and cabling standards Reliable transportation and proximity to local data centres Strong communication skills in English Ability to lift 25kg+ equipment Flexible availability including weekends/holidays for urgent requests Nice to Have Certifications: CompTIA Server+, Network+, CDCP, CCNA Experience at major DC providers (Equinix, Digital Realty, NTT, CyrusOne) Structured cabling expertise (fiber, Cat6, DAC) Data centre or IT infrastructure experience Server hardware and networking knowledge Reliable and professional with strong communication Proximity to local data centre facilities Flexible schedule for on-call/emergency work #J-18808-Ljbffr
