Join to apply for the Deputy Destination Manager role at MTS Globe We are looking for a Deputy Destination Manager for our Tenerife branch who will be responsible for the daily operations of the area. The Deputy Destination Manager will work closely with the Destination Manager to ensure business growth and maintain high quality standards in operations. Responsibilities Build and maintain profitable partnerships with clients leading to further growth. Manage existing clients, understand their requirements and business models to meet their needs. Guarantee compliance of service level agreements with clients and suppliers. Ensure quality in the daily operations of the destination. Collaborate with suppliers at the destination (transfers, excursions, etc.) to maintain high-quality standards. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. Develop and execute operational strategies for efficient and cost-effective processes with high-level client service. Risk management and action planning for unforeseen circumstances (e.g., strikes, fires, floods) to guarantee operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve overall business performance. Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards. Support department managers and the Destination Manager in leading the destination team. Analyze competitive reports to provide information for better decision-making. Collaborate with the Main Office and Shared Service Center teams (Operations, IT, Product, Commercial, etc.). Requirements Minimum 5 years working in a commercial, contracting or destination management position. Degree in Tourism, Business Administration or similar. Good knowledge of incoming travel agency operations. Solid and extensive understanding of the destinations and products mainly in the Mediterranean area. Fluent English; other languages are a plus. Analytical skills, used to working with a data warehouse. Understanding of the different source markets and key market players in the Tenerife area.
