As a Distribution Manager – EMEA Materials Protection, based in our EU hub (Barcelona or the Netherlands, with flexibility for remote work), you will play a pivotal role in expanding Arxada's footprint across Europe. You will develop, lead, and strengthen our distributor network for the Materials Protection and Paints & Coatings businesses, driving growth and ensuring exceptional market representation.This role allows you to shape distribution strategy, build trusted partnerships, and collaborate across Commercial, Technical, Regulatory, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams. You will help translate market needs into commercial success while ensuring our distributors are equipped to deliver impact across diverse customer segments.## Essential Job Functions* Develop and execute the distribution strategy for the EU Materials Protection portfolio.* Identify, recruit, and onboard new distribution partners to expand market presence.* Manage day‐to‐day distributor relationships, ensuring alignment on goals, pricing, and commercial priorities.* Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance, track KPIs, and support continuous improvement.* Ensure distributors have the tools, training, and product knowledge needed to succeed.* Analyze market and customer trends to identify new opportunities across coatings, plastics, construction materials, home & personal care, and industrial protection.* Collaborate with Marketing and Technical teams to launch new products through distribution channels and represent Arxada at trade shows, customer events, and distributor trainings.* Work cross‐functionally with Commercial Excellence, Technical Service, Supply Chain, Marketing, Regulatory, and Finance to ensure distributor and end‐customer needs are met.* Required*** 5–7+ years of commercial experience in B2B materials, specialty chemicals, additives, coatings, or related industries.* Bachelor's degree in business, science, or equivalent field.* Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship‐building skills.* Fluency in English; Preferred*** Experiencein Materials Protection, preservation technologies, biocides, or industrial protection markets.* Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency with CRM systems.Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high‐performance applications.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, status as a qualified individual with disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
