Cabin & Cargo Hold Engineer Airbus Defence and Space Job Description We invite you to join our multidisciplinary and highly‑motivated team. In TADAC3 we are accountable for the development of equipment and systems included in the cabin and in the cargo compartment of MRTT and C295, as well as the full definition of the cabin layout. This includes cargo loading systems or winches, seats, galleys, intensive care units, and more. We also develop different cargo equipment for the A400M, such as RVO seat or RAS/Wedge. Tasks Support to chief engineering and program offices in offer preparation, evaluating cabin and cargo required budget and activities Lead design activities in different programs, creating main part list, producing parts, assemblies, etc., and considering certification requirements and design principles and regulations Produce certification and qualification documentation Steer external workpackages with subcontractors Define purchaser technical specification to external suppliers, perform technical assessment in the selection process, and lead post‑selection developments Manage prototype development Support flight test campaigns, producing the associated documentation Support conversion centre (MRTT) or FAL (C295) Support A/C deliveries and familiarization activities with our customers Support Services from DO perspective (i.E. creation of RESTIF) Qualifications Master’s or bachelor’s degree in aeronautical or industrial engineering B2/C1 level of English More than 3 years of experience in aeronautical engineering activities Knowledge of Airbus DS engineering tools (DMS, DOORs, SNT, etc.) appreciated Knowledge of CATIA V5 and design experience (mechanical and/or composite) strongly valued Knowledge of electrical design (schematic diagrams) also considered Experience managing suppliers or external companies taken into
