Overview
As Engineering Lead, you own end-to-end engineering outcomes across all MaaS projects, shaping technical strategy and standards. You drive risk management, architecture governance, and cross-project reuse while coaching leads and architects. You partner with delivery and QA to ensure quality and timely releases, and you actively intervene to close gaps when underperformance occurs. This role offers impact across multiple accounts and a clear path to defining technology direction and competency growth.
ResponsabilidadesOwn technical risk management across all projects, ensuring testing, validations, and security reviews occur on time and capacity is ready for major releasesReview roadmaps, WBS, and estimates; challenge assumptions and identify gapsServe as technical escalation point for leads and architectsDefine and enforce engineering standards (code reviews, CI/CD, branching, documentation, DoD)Lead Architecture Review Board (ARB) and approve key architectural decisions; ensure consistency across projectsReview test strategies with QA Leads and improve testing coverageCoach and mentor functional leads and architects; address weaknessesStep in for underperforming leads/architects, take over critical tasks and work hands-on until gaps closeMonitor technical debt across projects and prioritize remediationDrive cross-project reuse through shared libraries and patternsProvide Delivery Manager with independent technical health assessments to flag risksParticipate in goal-setting and performance reviews for technical rolesOwn the accounts technical strategy, technology direction, and tooling decisionsParticipate in interviewing and hiring for lead/architect rolesNote: not a hands-on developer; does not replace Solution Architect on projectsAchievements in large engagements and across full stack are valued
