Oracle/SAP acceptable if adaptable).* Experience managing multi-entity, multi-LIMS, or lab/quality-driven businesses is a plus.* Strong understanding of finance processes — enough to challenge controllers, auditors, and partners.* Prior experience moving from fragmented ERPs into a single standardized instance.**Project Management Core*** Proven ability to run complex system implementations with tight deadlines.* Mastery of project planning, RAID management, governance structures, and steering committee reporting.* Adept at cutting through noise and keeping stakeholders anchored to the plan.**Financial Fluency*** Understands accounting fundamentals, period close processes, reconciliations, tax, and intercompany.* Able to detect poor design decisions that create downstream Finance or audit problems.* Experience with financial data migration and COA standardization.**Stakeholder & Change Management*** Able to work with Spanish and Portuguese cultural expectations: direct enough to drive progress but respectful and relationship-oriented.* Skilled at simplifying complex topics for non-technical users.* Can influence without authority and push back professionally when required.**Technical Acumen*** Familiar with integrations (APIs, file-based, SFTP), data migration tooling, and testing.* Understanding of warehouse processes (even if WMS is later phase).* Comfortable with structured documentation (requirements definition, functional specs, test plans).**Soft Skills (Non-Negotiable)*** Bi-lingual Fluency Spanish and English* Strong executive presence; able to speak to CFO/Controller-level stakeholders.* High integrity, low drama, thick skin.* Skeptical by default — validates everything the partner proposes.* Bias toward action and clear decision-making.* Exceptional communication and documentation discipline.**Success Criteria**The PM is successful if:* Spain goes live on time, in scope, and aligned with global design.* Finance processes work correctly and pass audit scrutiny.* The partner is controlled and held to contract.* Spain operates on the standardized Microsoft Dynamics Business Central model with minimal customization.A clean handover to the permanent staff.**Working at ALS**The ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world. Our values are important to us, and shape how we work, how we treat each other and how we recognise excellence. At ALS, you’ll be supported to develop new skills and reach your full potential.
