As an Executive Chef at La Residencia, a Belmond Hotel, Mallorca you will shape the gastronomic identity of a world-renowned luxury hotel, driving innovation while honoring the rich culinary heritage of Mallorca and the Mediterranean. The Executive Chef will be at the forefront of all culinary operations, responsible for driving innovation, maintaining the highest quality standards, and fostering a culture of excellence within the kitchen. This role demands a visionary leader who can inspire and empower a diverse team, while meticulously managing all administrative and operational aspects of a high-volume, multi-outlet culinary department. Primary Responsibilities Culinary Vision & Menu Development: Design and innovate menus for all outlets and events, aligning with trends, dietary needs, and profitability goals Quality & Compliance Oversight: Ensure high food quality, consistency, and strict adherence to HACCP, LQA, and safety standards across all culinary operations Team Leadership & Training: Recruit, train, and develop kitchen and service teams, manage schedules, and conduct performance evaluations Financial & Inventory Management: Control costs, manage budgets, oversee purchasing, stock levels, and cultivate strong supplier relationships Operational Excellence: Maintain kitchen equipment, address guest feedback, lead communication, and ensure continuous improvement and regulatory compliance Requirements Minimum of 5 years of Executive Chef, with a significant time in a leadership role within a 5-star hotel, luxury resort, or high-end restaurant group Demonstrated experience managing multiple food and beverage outlets (fine dining, casual, banqueting, in-room dining) In-depth knowledge of various international cuisines, cooking techniques, and culinary trends Ability to design, cost, and implement creative, high-quality, and profitable menus across different dining concepts Strong understanding of seasonality, local ingredients, and sustainable sourcing Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a large and diverse culinary team Strong financial & procurement Management Proficiency in English and Spanish Benefits Attractive salary package Health insurance Life insurance Other attractive company benefits Continuous professional development Exclusive company online platform and programs Complimentary and preferred rates of experiences at our iconic destinations We strive to create an environment where our employees can thrive both personally and professionally.
