Field Service Technician (Medical Devices) Hospitals & Clinics | Project‑based (6–9 months) Full‑time or Part‑time We are looking for a Field Service Technician / Engineer to support a project‑based assignment (6–9 months) focused on the inspection, safety testing, and technical verification of medical devices across hospitals and clinical sites. Extensive travelling accross Spain will be required for this role. This role is suitable for professionals seeking freelance, contract based, full‑time or part‑time project work in a clinical environment. Your Role Carry out on‑site checks, inspections, and technical verification of medical devices in hospitals and clinics Ensure devices operate safely and in line with local medical device regulations, standards, and hospital procedures Perform or support functional tests, safety tests, and preventive maintenance activities Document results accurately in maintenance or asset management systems Coordinate with clinical staff, biomedical departments, and hospital management Escalate technical issues and coordinate follow‑up actions or repairs where required Work across multiple clinical sites, depending on project needs What You Bring Qualified Electronics, Mechatronics, Medical Device, Biomedical Technician or Engineer Minimum 2 years of experience working with medical devices, ideally in hospitals or clinical environments Practical experience in medical device testing, inspection, servicing, or maintenance Familiarity with medical device safety, quality, and compliance standards Confident user of MS Office and digital documentation tools Ability to work independently and reliably in a project environment Strong communication skills when interacting with clinical and non‑technical stakeholders Good English skills Valid driving license (required for multi‑site hospital work) Own car Willing to travel extensively within country Why Join Short‑ to mid‑term project with clear scope and deliverables Hands‑on role with direct impact on patient safety Flexible working models (FT / PT) Exposure to multiple clinical environments and technologies Supportive, professional project structure
