Requisition Number: 32369Company: Westinghouse Field Services Spain SLULocation: VANDELLOS I L'HOSPITALET DE L', ESField Services EngineerGeneral Job FunctionResponsible for managing all project management processes for low complexity projects, leading small teams (typically fewer than 10 members), which may include project controls personnel.As Experience And Capabilities Grow, The Role May InvolveManaging multiple low complexity projects simultaneously, orLeading medium-sized work packages.The Position May Also Serve AsTechnical Inputs Lead for low-complexity proposal projects, and/orSupervisor or individual contributor on larger, more complex projects.Projects may span disciplines such as Engineering, Field Services, Software, Innovation/Product Development, and Process Improvement.All project management activities are performed in accordance with Westinghouse policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.The role requires developing subject matter expertise in one or more Westinghouse Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems or refuel machine systems.Duties And ResponsibilitiesProject PlanningAuthoring project plansDeveloping scope, schedule, and cost baselinesAssist in planning and document generation for larger and more complex projectsProject Execution, Monitoring, and ControlAcquire and manage project resources following departmental protocolsManage all aspects of the project, including:Scope, schedule, cost, riskProcurement, quality, resourcesCommunications and stakeholder managementInterpret and communicate project and contract requirements, including changes, using an integrated change management processCoordinate internal and external communications to ensure all stakeholders remain informedMaintain project databases, systems, and documentation to ensure efficient project executionParticipate in larger projects as a supervisor or individual contributorProject ClosingProperly close projects, including:Financial, scheduling, documentation, and resource system closeoutPerform final project quality assessmentsIdentify and communicate:Lessons learnedImprovement opportunitiesRisk avoidance strategies for future projectsTraining and DevelopmentDevelop subject matter expertise in one or more Instrumentation and Control systemsParticipate in system and field leadership trainingAssist with preparation and delivery of project-specific training for field crewsLeadershipPerform assigned job tasks independentlySupervise assigned projects and small teams with defined goalsLead projects in alignment with a strong nuclear safety cultureBuild and maintain strong relationships with:Project teamsCustomersInternal stakeholdersSupport business growth through professional collaboration and performanceScope of the RoleLeadershipProvide direct oversight of Westinghouse employees and subcontractors during project executionOperational Excellence & Continuous ImprovementEnsure flawless execution of field projects from planning to closeoutContinuously identify and implement improvementsProblem SolvingIdentify equipment and system issues per proceduresRecommend potential solutions for implementationDecision MakingMake routine project decisions independentlySeek guidance and mentoring for complex issuesInfluenceCoach and mentor peers and less experienced personnelProvide technical and professional guidance within the teamEducation & QualificationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in:Project ManagementEngineeringBusinessConstruction ManagementOr a related technical disciplinePreferredBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering / Engineering TechnologyExperience RequirementsMinimum:2 years of project management experience OR1 year of project management experience + 1 year in a technical role within nuclear or construction industriesPreferred:2–4 years of project management experience in engineering, manufacturing, nuclear, or construction environmentsCertificationsPMP or WEC Project Management Certification preferred but not requiredSkills & CompetenciesCore CompetenciesCommunicationDriving for ResultsPlanning & OrganizationStrategic ThinkingTeamworkTechnical & Professional SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to lead teams and build internal relationshipsCapable of managing multiple tasks with minimal supervisionIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of project scheduling and cost management toolsUnderstanding of:Data visualization and reportingDatabase conceptsCross-functional project interfaces (Finance, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain, etc.)Strong presentation skillsAdditional RequirementsCompletion of assigned training in Westinghouse systems, procedures, and policiesEmployment opportunities may require access to information which is subject to the export control regulations of the United States.
