Our 113,000 colleagues serve people in more than 160 countries.PositionField Technical Engineer Neuromodulation – ValenciaPurpose of the JobTo provide technical support to Sales Rep. and Customers relating to Abbott Medical products (Neuromodulation).To provide assistance with education wet labs for physicians.To ensure that all EMEAC current Business Ethics Regulatory and Quality procedures are followed.Roles & ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support of equipment and assistance over the whole national territory to physicians.Support physicians during the enrolment and follow-up phase of clinical studies and collaborate with the Therapy Marketing Group in those studies.Perform product presentations.Provide support to Sales Team.Analyze competitors’ devices and maintain updated marketing database.Perform training concerning the use of new products.Ensure all Abbott Medical standing Quality Procedures are followed.Provide market information to Sales Department.Produce monthly reports on personal activities.Represent the company in a professional manner and with the highest integrity.Maintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies with respect to pricing quotes credit terms and expense reporting.Keep his/her immediate manager informed of business progress activities.Assist his/her manager to build the yearly operating plan required.Give support to other areas if necessary.Interact with customers.Travel 60‑70% of the time.Education & CompetenciesSchool or University QualificationsUniversity Degree: Biomedical Engineer / Biotechnologist.Health Sciences Engineering or similar; previous experience in Hospital / operating room.Knowledge and SkillsAt least 2 years of experience in similar positions.English: high level B2‑C1 Advanced.Medical background (preferable).Knowledge of computer applications: Microsoft Office.Experience in related sector (Desired).Support in Hospital / operating room (Desired).Natural AbilitiesProfessional image.Communication skills.Teamwork.Ethical character.Willing to travel extensively.Hard worker.High level of confidence.Key SkillsActive DirectoryTechnical DocumentationWindowsOn‑Site SupportTest EquipmentLinuxInternetPreventive MaintenanceTechnical AssistanceTroubleshootProblem ResolutionSetupHardwareTechnical SupportUNIXJob DetailsJob Family: Sales ForceDivision: NM NeuromodulationLocation: SpainAvda.
