A professional fishing vessel based in the scenic port municipality of Andratx is currently seeking a motivated fisherman and deckhand to support daily fishing operations. This role is ideal if you possess hands-on maritime experience and want to contribute to local sea operations in one of the most prominent coastal regions of Mallorca.Working on a fishing vessel requires technical skill, stamina, and a solid understanding of fishing gear. As a member of the crew in Andratx, your routine will center around essential maritime and gear management tasks.Your core responsibilities will include:Carrying out general fishing operations alongside the rest of the crew at sea.Assembling, mounting, and rigging fishing nets before going out to sea.Disassembling, clearing, inspecting, and repairing fishing nets upon returning.Ensuring that all nets and gear are properly stored and ready for the next trip.Assisting with routine deck duties to maintain safety and smooth vessel operation.To be considered for this opening, you must fulfill specific maritime credentials and experience criteria:At least 6 months of direct practical experience working with fishing nets, specifically in assembling and disassembling them.Basic Maritime Safety Training (Formación Básica en Marina).A current, valid Seaman's Card (Tarjeta de Marinero).Full availability for variable daily working hours, as shift times depend directly on the day\'s fishing conditions and nautical planning.No specific academic degree is required; practical experience and official seafaring certifications are key.The position provides the following contract and working conditions:Full-time schedule adapted to daily fishing operations.Fixed-discontinuous contract (contrato fijo-discontinuo) with a total duration of 12 months and the possibility of renewal.Official gross annual salary set at €1,424.50.Work based in the municipality of Andratx on the island of Mallorca.Expected start date for incorporation on June 25, 2026.If you meet all the requirements, hold the necessary seafaring credentials, and know how to work with nets efficiently, take the next step in your maritime career in Mallorca.Other details:Required languages: es; Nivel académico: sense estudis; Experiencia (meses): 6; Otros requisitos: Experiència a armar i desarmar xarxes.
