Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca is looking for a Fitness Instructor to join our Spa & Wellness Team. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for providing personal assistance to individuals booking private training sessions, supporting all duties pertaining to the reception, and maintaining the overall cleanliness, hygiene and order of the Fitness Centre. Key Responsibilities Conduct fitness and wellness classes following Mandarin Oriental’s standard procedures. Assist guests throughout their wellness journey, including fitness assessments and personal training sessions. Monitor the effectiveness of fitness programs and recommend improvements. Oversee and maintain fitness equipment, reporting issues and ensuring proper upkeep. Support spa and wellness operations by assisting with guest experiences and completing departmental tasks, including reception coverage, wellness and fitness tours, and other assigned duties. Promote, sell, and up-sell wellness products and services. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all Fitness & Wellness areas. Experience and Education A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field is required. At least two years’ experience in a similar role is essential. A 200‑hour Yoga Alliance certification is highly valued. Technical Skills Ability to design personalized fitness programs for guests with diverse needs and fitness levels. Experience leading engaging, high‑quality group classes (e.G., yoga, Pilates, HIIT, aqua aerobics). Skilled in conducting body composition analysis, VO2 max testing, and movement screenings. Deliver exceptional guest service with attention to detail and discretion. Expertise in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting premium fitness equipment. Advise guests on safe training techniques and post‑injury recovery. Provide basic dietary guidance to support fitness goals. Multilingual abilities to cater to an international clientele (preferred).
