This position will play an important role in the development and execution of the strategic plans for Cogen and Energy by Cogen.ResponsibilitiesThe role requires strong expertise in finance, including FP&A, transaction structuring, integration and corporate governance.The Head of Finance reports to the CEO of Cogen Group, with functional reporting to MET Group finance.This position will lead a team of ~7 members and ensure high standards of business practices and reporting.Strategic & Financial AdvisoryAdvise CEO and management on financial and strategic decisions.Support projects financing, economic analyses and growth initiatives.Lead financial due diligence and integration processes for acquisitions or expansions.Financial Planning, Analysis & ReportingLead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis.Deliver timely reports with actionable insights for management and shareholders.Review cost centers and recommend corrective actions.Ensure accurate accounting, GAAP/IFRS compliance and support audits.Cash & Treasury ManagementMonitor cash positions and perform cash forecasting.Collaborate on debt/equity negotiations for development projects.Provide financial input for key contracts and align commercial and strategic objectives.Leadership & GovernanceLead and mentor the finance team.Hold key corporate appointments (directorships, board secretary roles).Serve as controller for subsidiaries and actively participate in management meetings.Process optimization & ComplianceEnsure tax,
