About the Role As Head of Geography, you will lead an ambitious and forward‑thinking department, shaping a curriculum that inspires curiosity, independence and a deep understanding of the world. You will model outstanding classroom practice across KS3, KS4 and KS5, using data, assessment and innovative pedagogy to ensure every student feels challenged, supported and motivated to achieve. In this role, you will drive the strategic development of Geography, lead collaborative planning, oversee high‑quality teaching, and champion opportunities such as fieldwork, trips and sustainability initiatives. You will also contribute to wider school leadership, playing an active role in whole‑school priorities and supporting the pastoral development of students within your tutor group.
