Vestas’ Internal Prevention Service is composed of a team of highly experienced, multidisciplinary HSE professionals with a firm commitment to Safety. The team is deployed across the national territory, supporting the organization in all regions where the company operates.
Responsibilities
Promote a robust Safety culture across the organization and ensure the integration of HSE principles in all activities
Recommend corrective and preventive measures to control and reduce identified risks
Deliver Safety information and training to employees
Monitor compliance with the risk control programme and personally carry out workplace inspections, including audits of work performed on wind turbines
Support the planning of preventive activities and coordinate emergency response and first‑aid actions when required
Collaborate, when applicable, with external prevention services
Participate as a member of the local Safety & Health Committee
Qualifications
Certified Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention (minimum of two technical specialties; three will be valuable). Intermediate Technicians may also be considered when extensive and demonstrated sector experience is shown
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HSE Technician, within the wind or renewable energy sector or other
Valid driving license
Familiarity with working at heights — GWO BST Trainer certification will be valuable
Motivated, organized, open‑minded, and collaborative professional who is effective at managing their own workload and shows a high level of commitment to Safety
Professional level of English
