Overview The Certification Body (CB) at ALTER TECHNOLOGY TÜV NORD covers a very wide range of activities oriented to assess the conformity of products or companies according to international standards or Regulations. This conformity assessment body has been appointed as Notified Body for several EU Regulation, manages the certification of electronic products for Global Market Access, it is accredited to certify components of alarm system and provides the system certification services under the prestigious brand of TÜV NORD in Spain and Portugal. Furthermore, ALTER includes its own laboratory with mechanical, climatic, EMC, radio, safety, functional and drone testing capabilities. The main services of the product certification area of ALTER CB are the certification of radio equipment, drones and intrusion, access control and fire alarm systems to achieve not only the European market but any market worldwide. These certifications include testing, factory audits, and technical documentation review, keeping a strong expertise in the fields of EMC, Radio, Cybersecurity and Environmental requirements as well as deep understanding of the fire and security alarm systems. Responsibilities Analysis of electronic products against the applicable requirement and tests Participation in standardization of international standards Technical support during the testing processes Review and acceptance of the results of test reports Conducting audits at manufacturer factory Producing and/or review of audit reports. Review of technical documents such as BOM, schematics, drawings, risk analysis Review of product modifications to determine the impact on the certification requirements Technical support regarding application of CE marking directives and European harmonised standards of products. Supporting the project manager, dealing with tasks such as reporting and planning. Stay informed on the new regulations and requirements stablished by the EU Commission and analyse new business opportunities. Optimization of procedures and processes through digitalization ideas. Requirements Required Education: Bachelor´s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Industrial or Telecommunication engineering or Physics with focus on electronics. Experience: Well experienced in a similar role. Proven experience in industrialisation and electronic products. Experience in design, validation, verification, industrialization, NPI, conformity, assessment, testing, V&V, safety, functional, environmental, industry, EMS of electronic and/or radio equipment. Working knowledge of CE Marking, EU Directives, mainly Electromagnetic Compatibility (Directive EMC 2014/30/EU), Radio Equipment (Directive RED 2014/53/EU) and Low Voltage (Directive LVD 2014/35/EU), and associated harmonized standards. Working knowledge of Quality management systems ENAC (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO/IEC 17065). Knowledge of testing & certification processes Fluency in English ‒ spoken and written ‒ C1 level. Advantageous Selection Criteria Working experience in a European or international environment Working experience in conducting quality or product audits and performing technical analysis concerning the product design Knowledge of product standard family EN 50131. Knowledge of standards EN IEC 62368-1, ETSI EN 301 489, ETSI EN 30X XXX Experience in manufacturing, installation and commissioning of electronic products: Electronics Manufacturing QA standards: IPC-771, IPC-A-630, IPC-1782A Knowledge of Air Traffic Management and Control systems and wireless data communications technologies (RFID, ISM, LTE, TETRA).
