We are looking for an On‑Site Support Technician on a full‑time basis to be based out of our office in Madrid, Spain. The purpose of the role is to support the end‑user computing environment. When required, the role will provide on‑site support delivery in our offices across the country.
The On‑Site Support Technician will provide user‑facing desktop support, computer provisioning and deployment services, as well as focusing on offering excellent internal customer service. Primarily, for WSP locations across the region, remote support will be undertaken. There will however be occasions when national and international travel will be necessary (when on‑site support is required).
YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Deployment, configuration and installation of laptops, workstations and mobile devices (Win11, IOS and Android)
Coordinate with vendors for provision of end‑user support (e.g. Hardware Vendor technicians for warranty repair/replacement)
Provide application deployment and support (Azure, SCCM, Autopilot and Active Directory)
Troubleshooting and resolving incidents and service requests from the business
Work according to all WSP policies and procedures (HSSE, Code of Conduct etc.)
WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?
Recognised qualification in at least one subject of a scientific or technical nature, ideally computer studies (or equivalent)
Demonstrable experience in an IT support role, ideally end‑user focused
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (in English and Spanish)
Excellent knowledge of end‑user computer hardware, including workstations, laptops, mobile devices, monitors, printers and peripherals
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system, common applications, specifically Microsoft Office 365, and other common computer software
Experience of Incident management using recognised ticketing systems
An understanding of ITIL Service Management
This role requires your physical attendance at the office as well as a driver’s license to support our offices and users across the country
