Vacancy: Predoctoral Researcher (3 vacancies)
Shift: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (35 in summer). Facilities for family reconciliation.
Duration of the contract: Start of the contract from September 2023. Contract for the completion of a doctorate of 3 years with a possible extension for a fourth additional year.
Specific Functions
Collaborate as a researcher in various national and international projects and studies carried out by CREDA in the field of agri-food economics under the supervision of the project manager.
Obtaining, analysing information and writing reports that respond to the objectives set.
Writing and publishing scientific articles based on the research activity, as well as other topics that may arise.
Writing the PhD Thesis.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Agricultural Sciences, Social Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics (if the other requirements are met, other types of Master’s degree will be assessed).
The candidate must meet all the requirements to start a doctoral program by early September 2023.
Good level of writing and communication in English.
Knowledge and experience in quantitative and qualitative methods of human behaviour analysis (surveys, interviews, focus groups …)
Computer skills (office, mainly Excel) at advanced level
Availability to travel.
Specific Merits
Experience in projects, regular collaboration with partners in the field of research and public policies (especially outside Spain).
Valuable good level of writing and communication in Catalan.
Valuable experience in a similar place.
Valuable experience in methodologies related to data analysis (Choice experiments, cost and benefit analysis).
Register of publications of scientific articles in journals.
