About the Role
Sun Chemical is seeking an experienced Logistics Lead to drive freight and distribution excellence across the EMEA region. This strategic role combines regional leadership with hands‑on operational expertise, shaping logistics strategies that balance cost optimization, service excellence, and sustainable growth. The successful candidate will serve as a key partner to global and regional stakeholders, leading network transformation and delivering measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Define and execute regional logistics and distribution strategies aligned with global governance and business priorities
Cost & Performance Management: Drive freight and distribution cost transparency through advanced dashboards, reporting, and analytics; identify optimization opportunities
Network Optimization: Lead continuous improvement projects across freight, distribution, and logistics networks to enhance efficiency and service levels
Partner Management: Manage and develop strategic relationships with 3PL/4PL providers, including performance management, KPI delivery, and contract negotiations
Process Excellence: Design and maintain logistics operating models, processes, SOPs, and standards including freight audit/pay and master data management
Systems Enablement: Support ERP, TMS, and related system development and standardization initiatives
Compliance & Safety: Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements are consistently met or exceeded

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing Management, or related field
Experience
8-10 years of progressive experience in logistics and/or supply chain management
Senior‑level logistics experience, preferably in chemical or regulated manufacturing environments
Proven logistics procurement, contracting, and negotiation expertise
Strong proficiency with SAP supply chain systems, TMS platforms, and logistics processes
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with TMS platforms and Business Intelligence tools
Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certifications/methodologies
Network engineering and logistics modeling capabilities
Change management and cross‑functional leadership experience
Advanced data analysis and modeling skills
