This strategic role combines regional leadership with hands‑on operational expertise, shaping logistics strategies that balance cost optimization, service excellence, and sustainable growth. The successful candidate will serve as a key partner to global and regional stakeholders, leading network transformation and delivering measurable business impact.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Define and execute regional logistics and distribution strategies aligned with global governance and business prioritiesCost & Performance Management: Drive freight and distribution cost transparency through advanced dashboards, reporting, and analytics; identify optimization opportunitiesNetwork Optimization: Lead continuous improvement projects across freight, distribution, and logistics networks to enhance efficiency and service levelsPartner Management: Manage and develop strategic relationships with 3PL/4PL providers, including performance management, KPI delivery, and contract negotiationsProcess Excellence: Design and maintain logistics operating models, processes, SOPs, and standards including freight audit/pay and master data managementSystems Enablement: Support ERP, TMS, and related system development and standardization initiativesCompliance & Safety: Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements are consistently met or exceededWhat This Role OffersRegional scope across multiple countries with significant autonomy in executionOpportunity to influence global logistics initiatives while driving regional impactLeadership of cross‑functional and external logistics resources without direct people managementExposure to complex supply chain challenges in a chemical manufacturing environmentCollaborative work with global and regional supply chain leadership teamsRequired QualificationsEducationBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing Management, or related fieldExperience8‑10 years of progressive experience in logistics and/or supply chain managementSenior‑level logistics experience, preferably in chemical or regulated manufacturing environmentsProven logistics procurement, contracting, and negotiation expertiseStrong proficiency with SAP supply chain systems, TMS platforms, and logistics processesPreferred QualificationsExperience with TMS platforms and Business Intelligence toolsLean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certifications/methodologiesNetwork engineering and logistics modeling capabilitiesChange management and cross‑functional leadership experienceAdvanced data analysis and modeling skillsBenefitsWe offer a range of market‑competitive total rewards that include merit increases, paid holidays, Paid Time Off, medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability benefits, 401(k)+match and life insurance.
