This role is key in ensuring that all hotel facilities, equipment, and systems operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate daily maintenance activities, uphold preventive maintenance schedules, and ensure that all standards meet RIU’s world‑class expectations.What You’ll DoSupervise, coordinate, and guide the daily tasks of the maintenance team.Conduct regular inspections of hotel systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimum functionality.Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs across the property.Allocate tasks based on priority, expertise, and operational needs.Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and provide technical guidance to team members.Maintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and documentation.Liaise with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers when necessary.Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental practices, and hotel operating procedures.Support the Chief Engineer in planning maintenance strategies, budgeting, and department improvements.Respond promptly to urgent repair requests to minimize downtime and disruption to guest service.
