OverviewWe are looking for a Mechanical & Welding Lead Inspector for a client located in Tarragona, to oversee inspection activities in an LNG modular construction project. Estimated duration: 18 months.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate all mechanical and welding inspection activities on siteSupervise the erection of modular structures and field piping systemsEnsure compliance with ASME IX, AWS D1.1, ISO 9606, and ASME B31.3 standardsReview Inspection Test Plans, mechanical completion certificates, and piping test packsMonitor weld fit-up, alignment, NDT, and hydrostatic/pneumatic testingInterface with client, third-party inspectors, and other discipline leads (E&I, painting, insulation, mechanical completion)Maintain accurate documentation and support system turnover for commissioningPromote safety and quality culture; mentor and support junior inspectors
