Hiring REMOTE Medical Biller - Multiple positions immediately available. We help US businesses hire applicants from various countries for REMOTE job opportunities, and we have multiple open Medical Biller positions we need to immediately hire. You would be working directly with the business.
Responsibilities
Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies and government programs.
Review and verify patient insurance information for accuracy and completeness.
Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve discrepancies with insurance companies.
Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary information for claim processing.
Maintain detailed records of billing activities and patient accounts.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in medical billing.
Assist in preparing billing reports and analysis for management.
Provide support in resolving patient billing inquiries and issues.
Preferred Skills & Tools
Proficiency in medical billing software such as Kareo or AdvancedMD.
Strong understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Excellent data entry and organizational skills.
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Qualifications
1+ years experience in medical billing or a related role.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
Stable internet connection, laptop, and headset.
High level of motivation and persistence.
Energetic and upbeat.
Team player.
Willing to listen to feedback and improve.
