Job DescriptionOncology MSL is a pivotal field-based role that connects GSK to the healthcare community. This non‑promotional, customer‑facing position focuses on advancing clinical practice within an assigned territory to improve patient outcomes.ResponsibilitiesLeverage scientific expertise and market knowledge to identify and engage HCPs (including academic and community HCPs, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals) for educational needs and insight gathering.Engage with HCPs on emerging data, clinical trials, unmet needs, patient barriers to access, market dynamics, and disease/state education.Contribute to medical strategy by collecting and communicating insights throughout the product lifecycle.Demonstrate strategic territory planning and management, appropriately mapping scientific engagements in alignment with medical strategy.Support clinical trials by facilitating relevant medical activities and collaborating with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations colleagues.Collaborate with internal colleagues (Medical Affairs, marketing, commercial, sales) to ensure a customer‑centric approach aligned with GSK Standard Operating Procedures.Understand and address the unique medical needs and attributes of accounts.Maintain in‑depth knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas and GSK medicines to serve as a medical resource.Adhere to GSK’s Code of Conduct, policies and standards, and relevant ways of working documents.Execute all administrative responsibilities, training, and documentation requirements in a timely manner.Participate in Field Medical and cross‑enterprise projects and teams that support medical strategies and tactics.Basic QualificationsMust reside within the territory for consideration.Doctorate level with a medical or clinical focus (Pharm D, PhD, or MD) or MS‑advanced science/clinical/healthcare related degree with relevant experience.Oncology experience, pharmaceutical industry, or medical liaison experience.2+ years’ experience in pharmacology and pharmacotherapy in humans with practical application in an oncology setting.Experience engaging in peer‑to‑peer scientific dialogue with medical professionals and decision makers.Experience delivering medical‑based presentations.Experience identifying opportunities for medical engagement and developing scientific engagement goals.Experience developing relationships with external HCPs, KOLs, and internal stakeholders.Ability to manage a multi‑state territory with 60‑75% travel.Preferred QualificationsPrevious clinical experience where direct/intermediate decision‑making authority for patient care was demonstrated.Proven track record of consistent, high performance.Above‑average computer literacy, including experience with AI and digital fluency.Equal Opportunity EmployerGSK is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
