We're supporting a leading contractor involved in the early phases of a landmark Data center megaproject, and they are now looking to appoint a Freelance Junior Project Manager to lead project delivery activities across the full lifecycle.¿Le interesa este puesto? Puede encontrar toda la información relevante en la descripción a continuación.This is a high‐impact leadership position where you will drive progress, manage interfaces, and ensure successful execution on one of Europe's most ambitious industrial developments.Location: ZaragozaRate: NegotiableRequirement: EU passportContract: 12 months (strong possibility of extension)Role OverviewReporting functionally to the Head of PMO and operationally to the Area Director, the Project Manager will oversee day‐to‐day project execution, ensuring alignment between engineering, construction, suppliers, and the client organisation. You will act as a key point of coordination, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and to the required quality.Fluency in Spanish and English is essential, as you will interface with local teams in Spain and international partners across Europe.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate project delivery across engineering, procurement, and construction workstreams.Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, and progress reporting.Ensure clear communication between Spanish‐based teams, international contractors, and client stakeholders.Oversee project scope, change management, and interface resolution.Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and quality standards are achieved.Identify risks and issues early, implementing mitigation and corrective actions.Prepare and deliver regular project updates for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Support the development and implementation of project systems, processes, and documentation standards.Experience & Skill RequirementsExtensive experience managing large‐scale capital or industrial projects.Strong background working with both owners and contractors; an owner‐mindset is essential.Proven ability to manage complex engineering and construction activities in fast‐paced environments.Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary teams and driving accountability.Strong leadership with the ability to be hands‐on when required.Skilled at navigating ambiguity and coordinating across multiple stakeholders.Excellent organisational, communication, and strategic planning capabilities.Experience with planning tools (Primavera P6 highly valued).Competence in progress tracking, risk management, and interface coordination.Fluent Spanish and English (mandatory).This is a 12‐month contract with a strong possibility of extension, competitive terms, and the opportunity to contribute to a landmark project with significant long‐term impact. xqbhyrxIf interested, please get in touch with a formatted CV, start availability, and contact details, and we can arrange a call.Look forward to hearing from you.
