You’ll be the key point of contact for small merchants — helping them optimize their live deals, re‑engage with Groupon, and grow their business through smart, data‑driven recommendations. You’ll also have the opportunity to sign new merchants and bring fresh, exciting businesses onto the platform.Your success will come from a mix of sales energy, relationship management, and curiosity about local businesses. You’ll learn how different merchants operate, what drives their success, and how Groupon can help them reach more customers.Grow and strengthen Groupon’s community of local merchants by managing existing partnerships, re‑engaging inactive ones, and acquiring new small‑business accounts that create value for both merchants and customers.What You’ll DoManage and grow a portfolio of existing small‑business merchants across categories such as beauty, dining, wellness, and services.Re‑engage former or inactive merchants through consultative outreach, identifying opportunities to renew or relaunch deals.Acquire new local merchants through prospecting and cold calling, introducing Groupon’s solutions for business growth.Optimize live campaigns by analyzing deal performance, suggesting improvements, and maximizing both merchant satisfaction and Groupon profitability.Understand each merchant’s business — their audience, competition, and goals — to propose relevant and realistic solutions.Problem‑solve and support merchants with questions or issues related to their deal campaigns, ensuring a positive experience.Achieve or exceed monthly targets for revenue, deal renewals, and merchant satisfaction.Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all interactions and opportunities in Salesforce.What You BringExperience in sales, account management, or customer‑facing roles — ideally within e‑commerce, retail, or local business environments.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently with attention to detail.Comfortable working with sales KPIs and basic data analysis.Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus.Prior experience in upselling, reselling, or cold calling is an advantage.Who You AreA curious relationship builder, passionate about helping local businesses grow.Resilient and results‑oriented, able to handle rejection and stay focused on achieving goals.Coachable yet confident, eager to learn, improve, and share best practices.Customer‑focused, always balancing merchant needs with Groupon’s commercial objectives.Adaptable and proactive, ready to tackle challenges and make things happen.A team player who thrives in a fast‑moving, evolving environment.How We Measure Your SuccessAchievement of quarterly sales and renewal targets.Portfolio growth through reactivation and new business acquisition.Improvement in merchant satisfaction (CSAT/NPS) and retention metrics.Quality of deal optimization and campaign performance outcomes.Consistent CRM accuracy and pipeline management in Salesforce.Groupon is an AI‑First CompanyBeware of Recruitment Fraud Groupon follows a merit‑based recruitment process without charging job seekers any fees.
