About the Role The Mid Software Engineer is responsible for independently designing, developing, and optimizing backend solutions that align with organizational needs. This role includes mentoring junior engineers, implementing best practices, and contributing to the development of scalable and efficient backend architectures. The Mid-Level Backend Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams and plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing backend systems. Key Responsibilities: Implement and maintain monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Datadog, Prometheus, and establish processes to proactively monitor system health, performance, and availability Analyze incidents, detect issues, and develop effective resolutions Contribute to preventive measures and root cause analysis to avoid recurring problems Drive continuous improvement through automation of processes Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize system reliability and performance Support development and operations teams in deploying high-volume data applications Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in a similar technical role. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Solid understanding of GIT version control and workflows. Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of databases and cloud platforms, particularly AWS. Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments. Hands-on experience with software development languages such as Python,, or JavaScript for high-volume data applications.
