Job Title: Network Engineer L1 (Dispatch – On Demand) Location: Leon, Spain (Onsite – Dispatch Model) Engagement Type: On-Demand / Dispatch Support Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer L1 to provide onsite dispatch-based technical support for infrastructure and data center environments in Leon, Spain. The engineer will support deployment, break-fix, IMAC, and operational tasks across server, storage, network, and data center infrastructure components. This is an on-demand role requiring flexibility, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and excellent customer-facing capabilities. Key Responsibilities Provide installation, configuration, and physical support for: Physical and Virtual Servers Storage & Backup Devices Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (e.g., Nutanix, Cisco UCS) SAN Fabric Switches Network Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Access Points WAN Optimization Devices Tape Storage Units KVM Units Power Distribution Units (up to 3KVA) Physical Cabling and Cable Management Rack & Stack / De-racking of infrastructure devices Break-Fix & Technical Support Tasks Power cycling and rebooting equipment Running diagnostic commands Whole unit replacement Replacing defective components and cables Re‑seating hardware components Basic storage array configuration Tape management and maintenance Inserting and removing media Cleaning fiber connections Identifying fiber issues using OTDR / LSPM / VFL tools Installing and testing loopback cables Assisting L3 teams during troubleshooting and H&E activities Operations & Service Delivery Update and maintain activities in IT ticket management systems Coordinate site visits and confirm attendance schedules Provide onsite, remote, or phone-based support as required Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities Asset tagging, labeling, and patching Maintain accurate documentation and reporting Ensure arrival/departure tracking and service compliance Carry required tools, laptop, and equipment for field support Technical Requirements Strong understanding of IT infrastructure principles (Networks, Hardware, Domains) Knowledge of Data Center and Network hardware architecture Experience with Active Directory environments Understanding of TCP/IP standards and networking fundamentals Hands‑on experience with Rack & Stack Cabling and patching IMAC and break‑fix activities Backup and recovery methodologies Ability to identify and replace defective hardware components Experience with tape management processes Familiarity with legacy and modern infrastructure platforms Language Requirements Spanish – Preferred for onsite coordination Soft Skills Clear and professional interaction with client stakeholders Strong analytical and logical troubleshooting approach Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Accurate record keeping and reporting discipline High focus on quality and service delivery excellence Education & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / Science OR This position is ideal for a field‑based infrastructure professional with strong data center and networking exposure who can operate independently in a high‑urgency service environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
