This infrastructure supports mission‑critical Financial Markets applications such as KDB, Ullink, MarketView, GEP, and Horizon — platforms central to our client’s trading activities on exchanges such as Eurex Frankfurt. /ppAs a Network Engineer, you will ensure our network infrastructure remains secure, performant, resilient, and scalable. /ppbr/ppbFocus and priorities /b /ppbr/ppbBusiness as Usual License to Operate /b /pulliMonitor network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) and ensure uptime /liliPerform incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution within SLA /liliHandle configuration changes (VLANs, routing, switching, firewall rules) /liliSupport VPN connectivity (site-to-site and remote access) /liliWork with ISPs and vendors for issue resolution /liliMaintain network documentation and diagrams /liliParticipate in shift-based or on-call support (if required) /liliDaily operational support activities /liliL2/L3 troubleshooting across network and related services /liliPlatform support for a wide range of internal application teams /li /ulpbPatch and Vulnerability Management /b /pulliManage and implement patching processes for network devices to ensure systems are up to date and secure /liliIdentify, assess, and remediate network vulnerabilities using standard security tools and best practices /liliPerform regular vulnerability scans and coordinate timely fixes to minimize security risks /liliEnsure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards through effective patch and vulnerability management /li /ulpbArchitecture Design Support (Primary Requirement) /b /ppYou will actively support the Network Architect in: /pulliGathering and clarifying new network requirements /liliPreparing High-Level and Low-Level designs /liliValidating design proposals and documenting technical impacts /liliSupporting PoC (Proof of Concept) activities /liliAssisting in the delivery and implementation of new network solutions /li /ulpbr/ppbOur way of working /b /ppbr/ppWe use Scrum and Continuous Delivery engineering practices. You participate in the full lifecycle of our systems — from design and build to test, deploy, operate, and decommission.
