Reporting directly to the Ocean team in Europe, will maintain a close relationship with EU CPD team (Central Pricing Department) for support and collaboration.Summary of Essential Job Functions:Tender support & Request for Quotations (RFQs):Analyze and Review RFQ submissions.Distribute RFQ to the different stakeholders.Gather data from relevant internal stakeholders during the tender management process.Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders during the tender management process.Coordinate communications.Focus on deadlines (internal and external (customer)) and follow up with stakeholders.Follow RFQ pricing strategy.Complete the RFQ submission, present to main stakeholder for review & submission.Customer quotation system (Freightos or other):Coordination and ensure accuracy of Ocean data on the platform for the region.Act as point of contact for questions from subject matter.Update rates and report any issue or lack of information on the system.Education:Experience and Knowledge:Freight Forwarding Experience – 3 years.Ocean Product skills / knowledge / experience – ExcellentPricing experience & knowledge – ExcellentInterpersonal skills - ExcellentUnderstanding of Tender processes - ExcellentUnderstanding of Ocean principles - Very goodPlanning & organizing skills – ExcellentWritten and verbal communication skills - ExcellentPersonal Attributes:Additional Languages a plus
