Your roleThe Battery Cell OEM Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, integration, and delivery of battery cell projects with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) partners. This role involves managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring all technical and quality standards are met. The Project Manager will act as the main point of contact between the company and its OEM partners, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and compliance with industry regulations.Main functionsProduct developmentEssential to have strong experience in battery cell development (Li-ion batteries or next generation batteries) for automotive and non-automotive applications.Prior experience in battery cell design and tests (electrochemical and safety).Project Planning and ManagementDevelop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery.Stakeholder ManagementServe as the primary liaison between the company and OEM partners.Facilitate clear communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.Keep stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and issues.Provide technical guidance to project teams. Apply now and let's shape the future together at BasqueVolt!Main requirementsOEM Project Manager must have:Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and/or product development, preferably in the Automotive or battery cell manufacturing industry.Also, experience with new product introduction (NPI) process and development validation activitiesEducation: Material science, chemistry, engineering.Fluent in English and other European languages are advantageous.
