Overview Our client is establishing a new engineering site in the Cádiz region and is seeking an experienced Office Lead / General Manager to lead and develop this location. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include : Establishing and managing an engineering site in the Cádiz region. Actively integrating the site and team into the wider group and, in particular, the engineering organization. Responsibility for business planning, business results, and reporting, including monthly and annual profit and loss statements, to achieve company goals. Building, disciplining, and developing the local team, including coordinated project and personnel planning. (You will be supported by a tech team lead with many years of experience in the company’s products, who will provide technical guidance and leadership to the team.) Development of local growth strategies in cooperation with the parent company. Establishment of a regional network for the acquisition of new customers, orders, and funding opportunities. Requirements Skills to build an organization from scratch, manage its operations, and develop it. Motivation to apply these skills for our client’s organization in the Cádiz region. Degree in business or engineering with at least five years of management experience. Spanish nationality, or at least 10 years of residence in Spain Fluent in Spanish and English. High level of commitment, leadership skills, reliability, and excellent communication skills. A nautical background is not a prerequisite, but would be an advantage. Professional experience in the Spanish shipyard or marine environment is not a prerequisite, but would be an advantage. Knowledge of German would be an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
