Therefore, being a NEXTER means that your career and talent become meaningful to you and those around you, allowing you to build what matters most to you and reach your next level.We are looking for a OpenStack Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and support one of our key clients, a multinational leader in the credit insurance industry.Key Responsibilities:Manage and maintain OpenStack-based infrastructure for high-availability environments across the EMEA region.Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting to streamline operations and handle large-scale infrastructure efficiently.Perform server maintenance on DELL and HP hardware.Address vulnerabilities, remediate obsolescence, and take proactive actions to improve the platform and respond to incidents.Follow ITIL practices as part of the daily operational workflow and in coordination with other IT teams.Participate in on-site and on-call service shifts as part of a rotation schedule.Skills:Essential:Proven experience working with OpenStack infrastructure.Strong hands-on skills with Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting.Experience with server maintenance (DELL or HP).Customer service–oriented mindset.Desirable:Knowledge of Ceph Storage.Experience with Ansible Tower.Familiarity with code version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).Exposure to other hypervisors such as VMware or Nutanix.Qualifications & Languages:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar is preferred but not mandatory.ITIL Foundation certification is desirable.Fluent English (spoken and written – B2/C1 level) is mandatory.French is a plus.Working Conditions:On-site support: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts from 9:00 to 18:00 (8 hours/day).On-call support: Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation, outside regular hours.Job Conditions & Benefits:Long-term project.Madrid, Spain.Competitive salary.Access to training and certification programs.Join our expert team, where creativity, commitment and the ability to bring new perspectives are essential to make a difference in a world full of opportunities.Are you ready for your NEXT LEVEL?In Lognext we are committed to equality between women and men and as proof of this we have a registered and published Lognext Equality Plan.
